Affordable Excellence in Hardwood Flooring.
Sucupira is our substitute of Ipe.  It is more
uniform is color and has a coarse grain
texture.  It is quite stable and does not have
the toxic dust to cause allergic reactions as
often found in Ipe.  Sucupira has a hardness
of 2880 lbs/sq".  It is easy to install, to sand
and to finish and will accept most coatings.
Sucupira will not change color (darken) much
over time.  However, an oil-based finish will
turn the wood darker while the water-based
finish retain more the natural color of the
wood.
