Rustic
Visual Characteristics
• This grade’s
combination of medium
to dark heartwood and
white to reddish or olive-
colored sapwood creates
a very colorful floor, rich
in earthy character.
• The charm of Rustic
Grade works wonderfully
to establish an informal
setting and will
gradually deepen with
age.
• Sound knots, slight
checks, naturally
occurring gum pockets,
unlimited surface
blemishes, and stain
are permitted. Sound
defects are allowed if
solid and machined
smooth.
• Rustic grade is free of
shake.
Cherry is best suited for
areas that experience
light traffic.
Color photo matching is
a reasonable
representation, however
it is advised to base
selection on actual
product samples.
